Exacting requirements for precise operations

Challenge

For this project, the Bowmaster team designed and built an entire custom deployment system. All components were required to be Lloyd’s Register class approved to meet the specification brief. The end-user was the Singapore Police and they had exacting requirements.

The shipyard, ST Engineering Marine, approached the team with the brief after discovering Bowmaster fulfilled all the exacting class requirements. The Singapore Police, had specified a full custom deployment system design incorporating a Manson Ray Anchor and a Bowmaster type 1 stainless superswivel along with stainless chain.

Solution

The Bowmaster team worked closely with a local Singaporean partner, Compolite, who worked tirelessly as a liaison with the client.

Initial challenges faced at the start of the project were solved by our Technical Sales Director visiting the shipyard and working with the ST Marine Engineering design team to ensure the directives were all met. This face to face collaboration helped to overcome and anticipate any challenges later in the project.

The solution was a Lloyd’s Register Approved fully custom deployment system and Ray Anchor that exceeded the expectations of the client and end users.
