Challenge

Manson Anchors were approached during the design stages of the new Motor Yacht Sea Owl. This yacht was of a traditional style and the designers were looking for classic extras that would complement the style of the yacht.

The anchor pockets had already been designed to look very traditional, so the Manson anchors needed to be in keeping with this.

Solution

The Manson Anchors team collaborated with Burger boats designers during the initial stages of the design. The anchor pockets were already designed, so precise dimensions were extra important.

The Manson Anchors team fabricated two large stainless-steel Kedge Anchors that were in keeping with the traditional yacht design. These anchors were polished to a mirror finish and delivered to Burger Boats shipyard in the United States. These anchors were delivered on time and were then installed by the shipyard crew.

Burger Boats and Manson Anchors have collaborated on new projects since, cementing a trusted relationship between the two companies.
