Challenge
M/Y Offshore Guardian was built for a New Zealand company that specializes in diving, salvage and surveying. It supports the oil and gas exploration sector as well as the production sector.
With these tasks on the agenda it was no surprise that Profab Engineering required a reliable and safe set of anchors for the boat.
Solution
The Profab Engineering and Manson Anchors team worked together and decided a set of large Manson Supreme Anchors was the best solution for this boat. With the remote destinations and extreme anchoring conditions, the teams could not go past the Lloyd’s Register Approved SHHP (Super High Holding Power) Supreme Anchor.
Manson Anchors fabricated two 255kg/ 562lbs galvanized steel Supreme Anchors for M/Y Offshore Guardian.
Profab Engineering and the client were delighted with the result. The two companies have worked together multiple times since.
